About Us

Saint James Episcopal Church was built in 1895 after the original wood frame church burned to the ground. It is the oldest building in Mountain Home, and is home to a congregation of about 60 communicants. We currently do not have a full-time priest, but are blessed to have our own full-time Deacon and guest Celebrants from the Diocese of Idaho. All services are currently being held in the historical church which provides a rich setting for spiritual growth and nourishment. We currently offer Sunday School programs for youth of all ages during the months of September through May.
